Adult Surprise Jacket

Now a finished object and I am entranced by all the colour combinations and angles that I prefer to look at it rather than wear it!

It is lovely, and you will be a lot warmer if you wear it ...!

That looks wonderful, and you're tempting me into making one! I've made several Baby Surprises and love the pattern.

I am so impressed that you spun, dyed, and knit something as lovely as this. Just glancing, I think I would have guessed Noro or something. Wow.

Haaaggghhh *sucking in breath sharply* That is SO gorgeous! I've been thinking of attempting one for Mom for Christmas, and in purple to flatter her green eyes. I'm inspired now!

Came here from Yarn Harlot; she right, it's gorgeous! Hmmm, wondering if I have enough odd balls to make one for myself . . .

Hi .. another visitor from Yarlot Harlot World and what a lovely sight upon landing here. Your coat creation is an inspiration. Beautiful color choices --enjoy the viewing.

Wow! My girfriend is knitting one in cotton. EZ daughter told her, "God Bless You!" She had to explain to me that no one knits it in cotton because it is just to heavy! I think hers is going to work, besides, she's big girl!

Now your, it's a work of art!

Great jacket. I never saw the Surprise jacket made in the adult size. Good job.

Came from the Yarn Harlot. This is wonderful. Some of my favorite colors. Anything in the Red, Purple, Blue side of the color wheel is tops in my book. Wear it when it gets cool enough your art will always be with you.

Another Yarn Harlot diversion here...

Your "Baby" surprise is gorgeous. I love the colours. I've knitted a couple of baby ones myself, but never anything to fit me!
I love EZs work and am hooked on the idea of knitting a Modular Tomten for myself.

That's beautiful. I'm a huge EZ fan - she always makes me feel like I can keep plugging away and that everything is ok. Like the knitting equivalent of a cup of tea.

I just wish her patterns had some shaping to them. I don't always want to look like a large box.

Another YH send-over. The first grand-baby will be here in 3 months and I'm working on stuff for her. Your adult version is breathtaking and I don't even care for purples!!! I would totally wear that EVERYWHERE!!!! I can't wait to make one for myself.....but some for the grandgirl first!

Aw, this was a really nice post. Spending some time and
actual effort to create a really good article… but what can I say… I
procrastinate a lot and never manage to get nearly anything
done.

Please, please tell me where I can get a pattern for this beautiful jacket? I have been knitting for the last 65 years and would LOVE to knit it for my daughter. I have found the pattern for the baby versions but not the adult one.
Many thanks
